Luxators reduce trauma during tooth extractions
Preserving bone integrity during extraction procedures is becoming increasingly important, especially for patients requiring subsequent implant placement. Luxators help you minimize damage to surrounding bone while performing less traumatic extractions. The specially designed periodontal ligament knives have fine tapered blades that compress the alveolar, cut the membrane, and gently ease the tooth from its socket.
Luxators function by cutting and rocking instead elevating, lifting, and prying. Insert the rigid thin blade into the periodontium two-thirds the length of the root, and the final loosening and removal of the tooth can be performed with a minimal amount of force and very little tissue damage, for less post-operative bleeding, less pain, and faster healing. Ergonomically designed for comfort and control during use. Handle shape and size minimizes the force needed. 6-1/2" long. Color-coded, fully sterilizable stainless steel.
The Luxator 3CA 3mm ContraAngle is for lingual/distal molars.
