Simple, proven Composite Contact™ forceps help form ideal Class II contacts in less time
Proven by years of success and back by popular demand, Composite Contact Forceps quickly create tight, perfectly contoured mesial and distal contacts in Class II composite restorations. Simply insert the convex, non-slip tips into a box preparation containing uncured composite. Close handle to produce separating pressure through the matrix band at the level of contact. Cure with instrument in place. Upon instrument removal, a void will remain that maintains the interproximal contact and contour. Fill void with any flowable composite and finish as usual. Works with Tofflemire and sectional matrices, both metal and mylar. Fully autoclavable stainless steel in two sizes. One small-tipped and one large-tipped instrument per set.
