Reduce composite curing time and increase flowability
Preheat your microfill, hybrid, and packable composite resins and experience a dramatic reduction in curing time and an increase in curing response and flowability over room temperature matewrials. With no increase in light intensity, thermal-assisted light polymerization yields deeper, faster curing for stronger, more reliable restorations.
Addent's CALSET™ Composite Compule Heater warms composite compules to 130°F in two minutes. Preheated composites reach conversion up to 80% faster under any curing light source. Preconditioning with heat also allows composites to flow and conform to the shape of the prep more easily, with no effect on the physical properties of the composite. Better adaptation reduces finishing time for occlusal adjustment. Also preheats pit and fissure sealants for thinner viscosity and better flow.
The CALSET heater holds eight standard composite compules or syringed composite in the center well. The removable, autoclavable compule tray can be placed on bracket table for easy access and serves as a heat sink to keep materials warm for up to three minutes. The Model 201 CALSET base can also be set to 155°F for additional working time, or 98°F for use with the CALSET anesthetic carpule tray (sold separately). LED power and temperature status indicators. Four-hour safety shut-off. Built-in ON/OFF reset switch. Includes standard composite compule tray, 110V adapter and instructions.
