The patented V-Ring Sectional Matrix Retainer Ring is first in the world with these versatile key features:

• An integrated nickel-titanium (NiTi) spring gives it unequaled strength and resilience. Unlike stainless steel springs, V-Ring never needs resetting for superior separation force and retention.
• A unique V-shaped gap between legs of the tines accommodates the wedge rather than getting in its way. With other sectional matrix systems, the wedge and retainer spring compete for interproximal space, causing the wedge to distort, or worse, the spring to jump off. Amazingly, the V-Ring gives you the ability to place a matrix band before or after the V-Ring, the wedge before the V-Ring, or even the wedge before the matrix!
• Micro-prongs at the tip of each tine grip the undercuts on either side of the embrasure for superb spring retention.
