The Denjoy TieApex Apex Locator gives you two instruments for the price of one!

First, in Apex Mode, it provides a precise, constant graphic display of endo file position during root canal treatment. Length of apical constriction can be adjusted from 0–0.5mm with the touch of a button.

For dual functionality, switch TieApex to Pulp Mode and attach the pulp tester handpiece to determine tooth vitality. Using a gentle electrical stimulation designed for patient comfort, the pulp tester is reliable and easy to use. The pulsed stimulus increases at pre-set fast, medium or slow speeds. As soon as the patient perceives the stimulation, simply lift the probe and the readout stops immediately. Press the Set button to reset the value to zero. Pulp tester measures 5 1/8” long without electrode.

System comes complete with two test cables, two autoclavable file holders and four autoclavable electrode hooks for the apex locator, as well as one short and one long autoclavable test electrode, one test cable and four autoclavable electrode hooks for use with the pulp tester.
