Achieve tighter, more extensive and predictable contacts in Class II composite resin restorations with easy-to-use OptraContact Contact Point Instruments.
With OptraContact, the matrix band is pressed against the adjacent tooth during the light-curing procedure. Patented bifurcated ends create a composite “bridge” at the desired point of contact. The bridge helps to stabilize the matrix and greatly facilitates the shaping of a restoration to final contour and the creation of proper proximal contacts. Also improves marginal adaptation. Contacts can be targeted at the upper or lower third of the proximal surface.
The OptraContact set includes one green molar instrument and one blue pre-molar instrument for smaller Class II restorations. Stainless steel tips with lightweight resin handles are fully autoclavable.
