Contact Pro 2 Contact Forming Instruments help produce ideally shaped and positioned interproximal contacts quickly and consistently in direct Class II composite restorations. Distal and mesial contacts are created with equal ease by Contact Pro 2's according ends.

To use, simply insert end into the box preparation filled with uncured composite of your choice. Push or pull in the direction of contact to create a separating pressure through the matrix band at the level of contact. Hold the flat plane of the instrument handle parallel to the occlusal plane for an ideal contact shape. Place curing light tip flat upon the convex lens and cure normally. Upon instrument removal, a void will remain created by cured composite that maintains the contact and gingival contour. Fill void with flowable composite and finish in your usual manner.

Contact Pro 2 is effective with both metal and mylar matrix bands. Made of advanced plastic with highest grade of transparency and durability available. Does not adhere to composites. Contact Pro 2 Intro-Pak with one small and one large Contact Pro 2.
